Produced in 2007 by Telling Award winning producer, Andy Elliott, Vision Communications pays tribute to the local war heroes who sacrificed their lives for the USA. In part 1 of 3, Elliott sits down with Raymond Plaisance, US Army, as he recalls the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor and invasion of the Philippinans (Day of Infamy). Also, Roland Mitchell Chiasson, USMC, recounts experiences on Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima during the second world war (Uncommon Valor).

In part 2 of 3, Elliott sits down with Albert Leftwich, USAAF, as he recalls the day he was shot down over Nazi Germany and imprisioned by the fascist Third Reich (Beats Me, Doc!). Also, Luke Bellanger, USMC, shares his experiences from the Pacific Campaign of World War II (Semper Fi).

Down the Bayou

(produced 2008)

Vision Communications & The Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program partnered to produce this 2009 documentary “Down the Bayou.” Local video producers, Andy Elliott and Megan Archer, interviewed numerous fishermen, shrimpers, scientists, historians, etc. to evaluate the hardships facing the shrimping industry and fading Cajun culture.
