The state law of Louisiana provides that any person who avoids or attempts to avoid, or cause another to avoid the lawful charges, in whole or in part, for any telephone or telegraph service utilized, or for the transmission of a message, signal or other communication over telephone or telegraph facilities:
In the event of abandonment of service, the nonpayment of any sum due, the use of foul or profane language, impersonation of any other person, the making of nuisance calls the use of telephone service by a customer in connection with a plan or contrivance to secure a large volume of telephone calls, to be directed to such customer at or about the same time, resulting in preventing, obstructing or delaying telephone service of others, or any violation of the Company's regulations, the Company may, without notice, either suspend the service or terminate the service without suspension.
