WE ARE WORKING HARD TO CONNECT EVERYONE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

This includes participating in a new federal effort to help people facing financial hardship pay for Internet service in their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.


The Emergency Broadband Benefit* includes up to $50 a month for Internet service**

You may be eligible to receive this benefit if ANY of these apply:

  • Children in your home are eligible for free or reduced-price school lunch.
  • Anyone in your home attends college with the help of a federal Pell Grant.
  • Your household suffered a substantial loss of income since February 29, 2020. And your 2020 income is below $99,000 for individuals and $198,000 for joint tax filers.
  • You qualify for reduced-cost telephone service through the FCC’s Lifeline Program.

Before enrolling in the EBB program, customers must either

#1 Be a current Lifeline customer or
#2 Apply through the National Verifier and receive a National Verifier ID number.

    If awarded the benefit, at the conclusion of the benefit, your household will be subject to the Vision’s general rates, terms, and conditions if you continue to subscribe to our broadband service.

  6. I agree to the following Emergency Broadband Benefit program terms and conditions

    1. The EBB Program is a government program that reduces the customer's broadband internet access bill.
    2. The EBB Program is temporary in nature.
    3. The household will be subject to the provider’s undiscounted rates and general terms and conditions at the end of the program if they continue to receive service.
    4. The household may obtain broadband service supported by the EBB Program from any participating provider of their choosing.
    5. The household may transfer their EBB Program benefit to another provider at any time.
    6. Lifeline customers may continue their existing Lifeline service without enrolling in the EBB Program; may choose to take EBB Program benefits from a service provider other than their existing Lifeline provider; and may transfer EBB Programs benefits to another provider at any time.

By completing and submitting this form, I certify that I have received disclosers about the EBB Program and I give consent to apply my Emergency Broadband Benefit to the service received from Vision Communications. I further give explicit consent to release information (PII) to the federal government through the database established for administration of the EBB Program.
*The Emergency Broadband Benefit program is a temporary emergency program operated by the Federal Communications Commission. Upon its conclusion of the program, customers will be subject to regular rates, terms and conditions.
**The Emergency Broadband Benefit is non-transferable and limited to one discount per household. Eligible Internet service plans are Premium Internet $69/mo or higher.
