As CEO of REV Broadband, the parent company of RTC, EATEL, Vision Communications and VENYU, Josh Descant is responsible for aligning the mission, values and strategic goals for the state’s largest locally owned telecommunications provider.
With both an industry and entrepreneurial background, Descant brings a unique perspective to guiding the leadership team responsible for daily service to more than 60,000 residential and business customers across the state of Louisiana.
In a time where remote work, distance learning and healthcare are powered by the internet and cloud computing, Descant recognizes the deep purpose and significance of his role to help guide REV Broadband to serve the needs of the community. He greatly values his team and understands it is essential that everyone find meaning and purpose in their work and balance in their personal lives.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Descant served as President of EATEL, and the previous position of Executive Vice President of Product Development and Marketing. Before joining EATEL, Descant was President of Sunshine Media, Upperline Media and ypOne publishing where he learned the importance of agility and adaptability through rapid growth and subsequent industry disruption.
Currently, Descant serves on USTelecom’s leadership committee – a dedicated alliance of connectivity executives representing local and regional broadband innovators – and is a member of the Ascension Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors and finance committee.
Descant was born and raised in New Orleans and has served his country in the United States Marine Corps, where he learned the importance of discipline, teamwork and diversity. On the other side of the fun spectrum, he participated in the Walt Disney World college internship program, where he learned about the art of making customers happy and having fun at work. He also enjoys his wonderful home life with his wife and two daughters in Covington, Louisiana.
Peter Louviere is the company's Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Peter is responsible for planning, implementing and managing all aspects of the company's financial and treasury functions including taxation, forecasting, risk management and long range strategic planning. Peter has over 25 years of telecommunications experience with the company. Peter is a member of the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Telecommunications Association. He also currently serves on several Boards including Special Eductation District No. 1 of Lafourche Parish as President and Chairman, South Louisiana Economic Council (SLEC) and the Golden Meadow LIONS Club. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounting and the Louisiana CPA Society. Peter holds both a bachelor of science degree in accounting and a masters of business administration degree from Nicholls State University.
Janet Britton is responsible for providing strategic leadership and business acumen and guiding EATEL through a complex myriad of complex business, legal and regulatory issues. Janet has been in the telecommunications sector for over 27 years and with EATEL for 23 year of those years. Prior to joining EATEL, she was a staff attorney with the Louisiana Public Service Commission. Janet is past chairman of the Louisiana Telecommunications Association (LTA) and is currently a board member. She was recently appointed to serve on the Broadband for Everyone in Louisiana Commission and the Louisiana Information Technology & Communications Resiliency Task Force by Governor John Bel Edwards. She is also a former board member of NTCA, OPASTCO and the Ascension Chamber of Commerce. She previously served as the Chairman of the East Ascension East Iberville School Partnership. Janet currently serves on the NTCA Industry Committee and WTA Public Policy Committee. She is also a member of the Ascension Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, City of Gonzales Marketing Team and is a member of the local Industrial Development Board of Directors. She currently sits on the Baton Rouge Area Chamber Board of Directors and serves on its Executive Committee. Janet was recognized by the Baton Rouge Business Report as a Forty under 40 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
As Chief Operating Officer, Harris drives the organization's operational excellence and innovation strategy by helping to blend technology and efficiency into existing programs as well as new business opportunities. Harris has been with the company for over 20 years and has held several management positions including: Director of Network Services, Manager of Network Engineering, NOC Manager, and Manager of Customer Support.
Tressy Leindecker serves as EATEL's Executive Vice President of Sales. As a sales leader with more than 20 years of management experience, she has led teams in several telecommunications organizations -- with a focus in cable, data, transport and telephony. Tressy has been responsible for the successful transformation of sales organizations, drastically increasing monthly performance and overall team bench strength. Tressy holds a bachelor of arts degree and often volunteers her time to give back to the communities she serves.
Scott brings over 22 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with the last 14 being at RTC. Scott came to the company as the controller and has transitioned from finance to operations, and now serves as the Executive Vice President. Scott currently serves as 1st Vice Chairman of the Louisiana Telephone Association. Prior to RTC Scott held various management positions for eight years within Cox Communications of New Orleans, and six years as an international tax accountant for Freeport-McMoRan.
Scott received his BBS in accounting from the University of Texas in 1985, after beginning his undergraduate studies at Texas Lutheran University.
Noah Boudreaux is the Executive Vice President of Business Operations for EATEL Business/ Venyu. In his more than 20 years of IT experience, Boudreaux has lead several prominent technology firms in the Baton Rouge area. His longest tenure of almost 10 years was at Sparkhound, where, in 2008, Noah accepted the role of Vice President of Operations. Eventually, he became the company’s Chief Operating Officer in 2013.
