LAROSE, LA – To provide local students with additional school supplies to help them excel in their studies, Vision Communications recently presented the Lafourche Parish Public School System with $3,285 in supplies and cash donations collected from its 2nd Annual “Pitch In Campaign.” Throughout the summer, Vision – in partnership with Walmart (Mathews and Galliano locations) and Callais Office Supply – once again “pitched in” to help our local schools and, through the generosity of our local community, collected more than 4,500 individual school items valued at over $1,800. In addition, $1,485 in cash donations were also collected.

"Our students and staff are appreciative of the school supplies collected for our schools,” said Jo Ann Matthews, Lafourche Parish School District Superintendent. “We are amazed at the support we receive from our community. With continued federal and state cuts, these donations help our students achieve their goals.”

“Vision appreciates that for students to be successful, they must have the fundamental resources needed to support their education in the classroom,” noted Peter Louviere, Vision Communications Chief Financial Officer. “As a member of the communities in which we serve, we are proud to continue our annual school supply drive in support of our regional schools and would like to thank our community and corporate partners for their generosity.”
