Larose Upper Student Named Coloring Contest Grand Prize Winner

LAROSE, LA – Vision Communications recently announced winners for its “Family First Night” coloring contest. Judith Lozono, a fourth grader in Mrs. Rodrigue’s class at Larose Upper Elementary, was the lucky grand prize winner of a Kindle Fire.

The following winners received “Vision Art Prize Packs”:

  • Jaysalyn Watson, 3rd grader, Galliano Elementary
  • Rylie Duhon, Pre-K, Cut Off Elementary
  • Taylor Leonard, 5th grader, Larose Upper Elementary
  • Maddie Dufrene, 1st grader, Larose Lower Elementary
  • Yoselin Arevalo, 2nd grader, Cut Off Elementary
  • Amaya Blanchard, Kindergartener, Cut Off Elementary

The coloring contest was offered to all pre-K through 6th grade students in Lafourche Parish. More than 400 students submitted entries to Vision Communications. The purpose of “Family First Night”, as proclaimed by the Lafourche Parish School Board, is to provide an opportunity for families to spend quality time together without having to work with their children on homework, test preparation or school-related projects. Several area businesses provide “specials” on these nights, thereby linking families, schools and community. “Family First Night” takes place four times a year.Congratulations to the winners and all who participated!
