| Vision Communications Dial-Up Accelerator for Mac Note: This is strictly a dial-up enhancement. DO NOT install the Vision Communications Dial-Up Accelerator on a DSL or Cable Broadband connection. Please see system requirements below. Minimum System Requirements: Apple Client: 400MHz G3 Processor, 128Mb RAM Additional 8Mb Free on your Hard Disk OSX 10.2 and above. Click to download Vision Communications Dial-Up Accelerator NOTE: The installer should unpack this file and open up a Finder window containing a package file. Installation 1. To begin... If you have not done so at this point, close any open programs and save any documents, photographs or files you may be working on. Double-click the Vision Internet Accelerator.pkg package file to begin. ![]() The installer will open. 2. Introduction The installation will begin. ![]() Click "Continue" to proceed. 3. License Read the license agreement. ![]() Click "Continue" to proceed. ![]() A notification will appear. Click on "Agree" to proceed with the installation. 4. Select Destination Choose the destination volume where you wish to install the Accelerator by clicking on the volume icon. ![]() Click "Continue" to proceed. 5. Installation Type If the Accelerator installer detects a previous version, it will be upgraded. Click "Upgrade" to uninstall the previous version and begin the installation of the new Vision Communications Dialup Accelerator. If this is a new installation, click "Continue". ![]() 6. Authenticate Enter your Administrative password. ![]() Click "OK" to proceed. 7. Finish Up Upon completion, the Accelerator installer indicates a successful install. ![]() Click "Close" to proceed. 8. Accelerator Configuration The Accelerator will open onto the screen. Select the Connection tab. ![]() 9. Connection Tab Type your username and password into the boxes, as presented on your Vision Communications Customer Agreement Form. The Accelerator uses the same username and password as your modem does to dial-up. ![]() Click "Apply" to commit your changes to memory. The Accelerator icon should appear in the Dock with a red X until the computer is dialed-up. It illuminates when it is active.
